Flow diagram of literature search and selection A comprehensive search of PubMed and the Web of Science Core Collection databases (2015–2025) yielded 445 records. After duplicate removal and sequential screening based on language, study species, study type, thematic relevance, and methodological quality, 61 studies were included in this narrative review.
