Abstract
Objective: To investigate the efficacy and safety of percutaneous nephroscopy combined with thulium laser cyst decortication for the treatment of simple renal cysts. Methods: The patients with 64-bit simple renal cysts were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, with 32 patients in each group. The experimental group underwent percutaneous nephroscopy combined with thulium laser cyst decortication, while the control group underwent conventional laparoscopic cyst decortication. Compare the surgical outcomes of the two groups of patients. Results: The experimental group had a shorter operation time, postoperative drainage tube retention time, and hospital stay compared to the control group. The experimental group also had less intraoperative bleeding, lower postoperative VAS scores, and lower C-reactive protein (CRP) levels, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Percutaneous nephroscopy combined with thulium laser cyst decortication is a minimally invasive, effective, and safe method for treating simple renal cysts, offering advantages such as shorter operation time, less bleeding, and faster recovery.
