In zehn Jahren wurden aus verschiedensten Indikationen 107 Boariplastiken durchgeführt, davon fünf doppelseitig. 83 Plastiken wurden nachuntersucht. Es fanden sich 58% gute, 25% befriedigende und 17% schlechte Ergebnisse. Das Patientengut bestand zur Hälfte aus Patienten, die wegen eines bösartigen Grundleidens vorbehandelt worden waren. Bereits erfolgte Bestrahlung war ohne wesentliche Bedeutung für das Gelingen der Boariplastik. Die Ergebnisse der Boariplastiken beim kindlichen und Erwachsenen-Megaureter waren schlecht, doch handelte es sich hierbei überwiegend um erfolglos voroperierte Patienten. Dem postoperativen Reflux, der sich in sechs Fallen fand, wird keine grosse Bedeutung zugemessen.
