L’opération conservatrice d’un rein opéré pour tumeur du bassinet peut être tentée dans le cas où la tumeur est petite et pédiculée, que la tumeur soil dans le bassinet ou dans le calice. L’intervention conservatrice devient une méthode de nécessité si la tumeur est située dans un rein unique ou en cas d’insuffisance rénale. L’accès par pyelotomie pour les tumeurs du bassinet et l’accès par néphrotomie avec hémostase temporaire par pincement du pédicule donne un jour suffisamment large pour permettre une operation conservatrice pour autant que la base de la tumeur ne soit pas trop large. Les résultats relativement favorables sont présentés dans 10 cas opérés.
