1. Sixty per cent of bladder tumors not extended beyond muscle (T. 1 and P. X) could be cured completely. 2. Bladder tumor extended beyond muscle (T. 3 and T. 4) showed the survival rate of only 34% five years after operation. 3. As for treatment, the segmental resection of the bladder wall had rather better results than the total cystectomy. 4. Cases with total urinary obstruction had a very poor prognosis. 5. The segmental resection of the bladder wall combined with the mucosal denudation of the bladder suggests a broad sign of bladder tumor. Further observation is needed.
